Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator:

shahla · August 26, 2019 · 22 Comments

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Samsung. The opinions and text are all mine.

HOW IT KEEPS US TOGETHER

This post is in partnership with Samsung, all opinions and views expressed are my own.

What room does your family spend the most time in? Ours is the kitchen (this is proven true by how many times a day I am cleaning the kitchen!). I appreciate appliances that make our lives more organized and bring us together. The Samsung Family Hub refrigerator does just that. I have had a major refrigerator envy since visiting Samsung offices last year and seeing the Family Hub in action. When Samsung offered to send me this refrigerator in exchange for my honest feedback, I happily accepted and couldn’t wait to see if it lived up to what I saw the year prior.

Spoiler: It totally lives up to everything I had heard and more!

CENTRAL ORGANIZATION

The Family Hub on our Samsung refrigerator keeps the entire family organized. I am able to manage our family’s calendar and see what is coming up for the week (love that it is color-coded per person).

We added the To-do widget to the main page because…well…I forget everything! I add a To-do list for each person. The kids love the touch-screen so they are eager to check out and check off their list (mom-win)!

Another widget on our main screen is the white board. The kids love drawing pictures on there. What I love is creating a reward chart to manage their homework for the week. If the kids complete their homework (without complaining) they get a smiley face. After earning 5 smiley faces, they get a treat.

MANAGE YOUR SHOPPING LISTS

One of my favorite features on our Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator is the ability to add items to my shopping list with voice command using Bixby, Samsung’s voice assistant.. I keep my shopping list displayed on the first page of the Family Hub display to help me with my meal planning. I can access and cross off items on my shopping list in the grocery store using my Family Hub app on my phone. It can also assign expiration dates and send notifications when something is expiring.

Have you ever been at the store and wondered if you forgot to add something on your list? The Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator has 3 built-in cameras so you can remotely look inside your refrigerator.

I also have the Instacart app on the Family Hub, so I can easily place an order on days when I can’t get to a grocery store.

FOUR-DOOR FLEX

I didn’t realize how much I needed this option until now. The four-door flex gives you the option to convert one of your freezer compartments to a refrigerator with the touch of a button. We don’t need that much freezer space, so we use our FlexZone as a refrigerator for the kids. It is the perfect height for them to access and see what healthy snacks are available. It helps us keep everything much more organized. The FlexZone inspired me to train my kids to pack their own lunches with servings of fruits and vegetables. (Blog post on how to train your kids to pack their own nutritious lunch coming soon)

It is also a great compartment for entertaining guests. We used it over the summer to chill wine and champagne (the refrigerator comes with a wine rack) and prep for a charceuterie board.

CONVENIENCE AND FUN

We have personalized our Family Hub to meet our needs. The kids add their favorite photos and leave us messages through the day. We play music using our Spotify account directly from the refrigerator, and I can even answer our door without leaving the kitchen through the Ring app compatibility.

I love meal planning using AllRecipes and Pinterest. Being able to play instructional cooking videos on the Family Hub has turned this girl (who burns bagels) into a pretty decent cook!

What would be your favorite feature?

The Samsung Four-Door Flex Family Hub refrigerator retails for $3,399 and you can learn more here.

With love,

Shahla

That’s a really fancy refrigerator. I think my fave feature would be the 3 built-in cameras. I mean who wouldn’t what in the fridge without having to physically open it. I know sometimes I have forgotten what I have in the fridge while grocery shopping. It would have definitely been helpful then!

Wow, I am just in awe of this Samsung Fridge. Love the Four Door Flex option as at times I need more fridge space compared to freezer. Also love how spacious the fridge is, I could do with this in my kitchen!
