Baseball and Softball Pumpkins

These baseball and softball pumpkins are the perfect DIY for your little ballers. Whether you are in charge of team snacks, parties or just want to create something fun for your kids’ trick or treating adventures- this is the post for you. How To Create Your Baseball and Softball Pumpkins

When Walmart brings out these white pumpkin pails– it’s game on. They are so easy to add baseball stitches onto to create a themed pumpkin pail. And with some spray paint you can easily turn them into softballs too! I used this spray paint and covered the eyes, nose and mouth with painters tape. For the baseball and softball pumpkins you can either use a Cricut with permanent vinyl to create the stitches or you can use a red acrylic paint marker. Since I have a Cricut and I am a terrible artist (sadly symmetry isn’t my thing!) I used my Cricut to create the baseball stitches.

Here are a few quick tips from what I learned- once you spray paint a pail, getting vinyl to stick on is near impossible. You can either try sealing with modge podge or use a paint marker. Also I messed up the eyes and need to go back and figure that out.

If you also have a Cricut and want to use the same stitches I used to create the baseball and softball pumpkins, here is a link.

Hope you have fun creating your baseball and softball pumpkins!

With love,

Shahla
