This end of year teacher gift is one for the teacher you know likes to entertain! Post has been edited because there is a typo on the tag pictured! The file is now corrected and the tag reads your instead of you. This post contains affiliate links which means I earn a commision when you shop through my links at no charge to you. Thanks for supporting my small business. When I saw this Stanley Cocktail Shaker that had a built in juicer, I knew it would make the perfect gift! Before anyone says anything judgy about giving a teacher a cocktail shaker, let me clear a few things up. First- I know my teachers well! I get to know them through volunteering and through a survey I give them at the beginning of the school year (If you want to see what that survey looks like check out this post here). If you don’t know your children’s teachers well then this might not be the gift idea for you, and that’s okay! Secondly, and I have mentioned this before, let’s normalize teachers having lives outside the classroom and giving gifts that they can enjoy beyond teaching!
End of Year Teacher Gift – Alcohol or No Alcohol?
This was such a hot topic on one of my social media posts. The rules and laws vary from states/schools. Check to see what is permitted. I would not give my children a gift with alcohol to take in, I would take it in myself. So use your better judgement. An easy easy around the various rules and laws is to give the teacher a gift card to Total Wine/BevMo, etc. We love our teachers though so if I needed to meet mine in a parking lot to give her end of year teacher gift, I would!
For this end of year teacher gift, I printed a tag and added a gift card. The tag is similar to the tag I made is this Teacher Appreciation post with the Stanley pitcher that went viral. This tag says “Sip Sip Hooray Enjoy Your Summer Vacay”. This is for personal use only. Distributing for sale will result in legal action. Here is a link to the tag that I created.
With love,
Shahla
