Typically around September I start really crushing on all things orange. Maybe it is the promise of autumn leaves changing colors, or the goodness of pumpkin infused drinks and delectable baked goods.
Being that we just ushered in the first day of summer, this little color obsession was confusing me a bit. Then I started remembering all of the orange that summer has to offer; orange creamsicles, juicy peaches, the hue of the streaks on the horizon as the sun sets on a hot day.
These summer pieces are not only in a delectable hue; they can also translate well into the months when you are enjoying the crisp air and that pumpkin spice latte.
