Teacher Appreciation Ideas – Round Up

shahla · April 30, 2024 · Leave a Comment

Teacher Appreciation Week is around the corner and I have rounded up all of my teacher appreciation ideas in one place so you don’t have to go searching for them. One of the conversations I had online with people last week was how I like to get to know each teacher’s preferences at the start of the year so he/she is getting all their favorites during birthdays/holidays/teacher appreciation week. One of the ways I do this is by having the teachers fill out a survey at the beginning of the year. I had a few requests to share my survey with others who wanted to do the same. I promised I would share a more aesthetically pleasing one that you could print or email to your teacher. Here is my version (this is for personal use only, please do not sell). Also, many PTA’s have surveys, so you can check with yours. The reason the survey became such a hot topic was because of my teacher appreciation basket that included alcohol. Obviously not every school/state allows it and not every teacher drinks,, You know your school and teacher best (and the survey does help in that situation).

Teacher Appreciation Idea- Pitcher/Summer Drink

Let’s normalize teachers having lives outside of school. This is for the teacher who likes to entertain! You can omit the alcohol and instead include a gift card or just make it a lemonade or sweet tea basket. You can print the tag and find the links to everything you need to make this basket here.

Teacher Appreciation Whimsical Floral Arrangement

Teacher appreciation floral arrangement with solar/battery operated fluttering butterfly and thank you tag. Tag is pink and white with butterflies and reads Thank you for helping me fly.

This floral arrangement is whimsical and is sure to wow your teacher. It isn’t very hard to create but it looks like it is professionally done! Find the printable tag and link to the fluttering butterfly here

Teacher Appreciation Coffee Sleeve and Flower Idea

Coffee cup holder with small bouquet and coffee cup with teacher appreciation coffee sleeve that says thank you with smiley face and checker board print in yellow and black

You can never have too many floral ideas for teacher appreciation week! This one is an easy one that can accomodate any budget. You can cut flowers from a garden, use a jar you already have and grab a coffee from a small coffee shop. Print this coffee sleeve from my post here and you have the perfect way to thank a teacher. I love this for older students too.

Appreciation the Swiftie Teacher

Swiftie Teacher appreciation gift idea- disco ball shaped trinket box with pink striped tag on it that says Teacher you make the whole class shimmer tied with a pink bow and friendship bracelet that says best teacher.

If your teacher is a Swiftie at heart then this is the idea for you! Check out this post which includes a printable tag and links to everything you need to celebrate your Taylor-Swift-loving-teacher!

Last Minute Teacher Appreciation Idea

If you are looking for a last minute teacher or staff gift idea this one from a couple years ago never fails me! All you need is an animal fry box from In N Out, a gift card, some yellow shred from the Dollar Tree and ribbon! Check out this post here for the printable tag!

Which teacher appreciation idea is your favorite?

With love,
