Olive & Blush

I have been putting a solid effort to wear something other than my gym clothes more often. By solid effort, I mean 3 times a week. Let’s be real, running after an almost two-year-old and coloring the sidewalks with my four-year-old doesn’t necessarily require business casual attire. However, it does make me feel a little more human to wear “real” clothes (whatever that means) and not wear my hat down low to cover my legit need for a dye job.

My momiform other than gym clothes has been a well-fitting v-neck shirt and jeans or slim pants. I love the blush tone of this tee by Banana Republic. It is super comfy and does not plunge too low when I am picking up my son or helping my daughter with her shoes. Here is a similar one from Banana Republic. Check out this one too.

The olive cargos are awesome because they are higher rise and the legs are so flattering. These can easily be dressed up or down. They are a few years old from J. Crew but here are some that are very similar from H+M here.

These flats are pricey but definitely get their wear as they are my go-to. The nude tone looks great with everything and the rockstuds dress up any outfit. Plus they hide my need for a pedicure! Win-win! You can get them here. Here are some fabulous nude heels at a lower price point: love the heel of these and love the detail of these.

What do you wear to break your momiform?

With love,

Shahla

LOVE the shoes!! Maybe one day I can afford them! haha. But I totally know what you mean about getting out of gym clothes!! I’ve been getting up an hour earlier lately just so I can shower and dress in peace. Otherwise, it normally doesn’t happen. lol
