I love a good pair of DIY bunny ears. I had made some fun floral ones a couple years ago (you can find that post here). Now thanks to my obsession with succulents (which comes from the fact that they are the only plant that I can seem to keep alive!!), I had to find a way to incorporate them into our ears for easter.

Here is what you need to make these ears:
- Wire bunny ears (I saw some fun colored ones at the Target dollar spot)
- lace pieces (you don’t need more than a 1/4 yard if the wire ears are small)
- faux succulents
- hot glue gun
I had a pair of wire bunny ears from Target (a couple years ago) and was able to use those to glue lace onto. Lace was measured to the ears and cut in rectangles. I glued the lace and then cut off the excess. The process was repeated for the other ear. They do not have to be exact, any imperfections add to the bohemian whimsy of them.

The mat of faux succulents makes it easy to pull them off and glue onto the base of the headband. I angled them differently to give the ears even more whimsy.

Ta-da! Easy peasy, right? These make great easter basket gifts too.
With love,
Shahla
