The delivery men and women work hard every year during the holidays. This year we wanted to give them an extra thank you (I have included a free printable at the bottom of this post if you would like to do the same). I think we can all agree that 2020 has been quite a lot to handle and we have relied heavily on these important workers. In our house we have been staying home as much as we can and using online services to curtail our need to go out. Since March there has been a steady stream of people coming to our door and making deliveries comprised of our household essentials, groceries and food.
Every year I put out a basket of snacks and drinks for our delivery people to help themselves (it was inspired by a viral Facebook post I saw years ago). This year I wanted to make our delivery person thank you basket bigger and better; so we made a delivery thank you cart!

I ordered a bunch of things for our delivery thank youcart (you can find a similar cart here) and set it up sheltered from rain and wind. We are in California so I don’t have to worry about snow and other elements. Here are some items I included on our cart this year:
- Mini hand sanitizers
- Lip balm
- Mini gum packets
- Mints
- Hard candy
- Chips
- Breakfast bars
- Almonds
- Pretzels
- Coffee
- Water
I have two signs I made; one is geared towards 2020 and the other can be used every year. Both are linked below in one file for your personal use. I would love it if you join me in spreading cheer with me! If you make a delivery thank you cart or basket, tag me on Instagram and use the hashtag #SleighThanks. I will be choosing some friends there to send gift cards to!
With love,
Shahla
