Beat Birthday Party Burnout with Chuck E. Cheese

shahla · September 25, 2018 · 8 Comments

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. The opinions and text are all mine.

Confession: I suffer from birthday party burnout. Ever since my daughter was born over six years ago, I have been throwing birthday parties at my home. This year, my husband and I decided to have my son’s birthday at Chuck E. Cheese. My son and his friends had a fantastic time! My husband and I loved spending quality time with our son and guests. We were trying to figure out why we hadn’t delegated the party planning, execution and cleanup sooner!

Here are some of no-fail tips for having an awesome party at Chuck E. Cheese:

Pick the Package That Suits Your Party

There are different party packages that you can choose from to suit your budget. We chose the Mega Super Star because it was the best value. Our party guests got to enjoy unlimited games for the duration of our party using the Play Pass (a preloaded card used to play games, take photos in the photo booths, etc.). The Mega Star package also includes Dippin’ Dots ice cream and a goody bag.

Customize Your Party with Additional Choices

You can work with your party coordinator to figure out the various additions you want to include. For example, we had lots of parents at our party and wanted to add on more pizza (the pizza is so good!) and chicken wings. You can also add on a cake to your party, which means you can literally show up to Chuck E. Cheese and let them do it all for you. I would suggest reaching out to your party location a week prior to ensure proper communication.

Relax and Mingle with Your Guests

Being able to relax and was my favorite part of having my son’s party at Chuck E. Cheese. I was able to spend time playing games with my kids and seeing the joy on our birthday boy’s face. Also, I was able to relax and talk to our guests since I did not have to worry about setting up or cleaning! These are things that I wasn’t able to do at the parties I threw at my house.

Birthday Star

All packages include the Birthday Band show where they make the birthday star feel special! My son loved the special appearance by Chuck E. Cheese. And he also loved being able to go to the ticket blaster with his dad and having all of his friends cheer him on! Later that afternoon he thanked me for the “best party ever”…so sweet!

I can only imagine how much goes to planning a kid’s party. I remember my parents throwing me a Chuck e cheese party and I can just bet they love not having to set up things and worse clean up.

Chuck E Cheese is one of my family’s favorite places to do indoor parties for the kids. Especially when its just to hot or to cold outside. Lots of fun active play!
