May 4th is a big deal around here. Almost like a holiday type of big deal. It is celebrated as Star Wars Day by fans of the franchise, so I know we aren’t alone in our geeky-ness! If you have been following along for awhile, you know that we have lots of Star Wars themed posts here.
In honor of celebrating May 4th here are some of my favorite Star Wars posts we have shared here.
DIY Princess Leia Minnie Ears
This post is currently one of my top-pinned on Pinterest. It is one of the easiest Minnie-themed ears you can make! And it cost me less than $20 to make! They can be a little heavy, but that isn’t bad considering the weight of the galaxy on Princess Leia’s shoulders!
This craft is perfect for a Disney trip or to go to a May The 4th party (yes that is a thing!).

Star Wars Costume Changing Station
This is perfect for the little boy or girl who likes to celebrate May the 4th all year long! When my son wanted the theme in his big-boy room to be Star Wars, I wanted to incorporate his costumes into the decor. It turned out perfectly and I love how easily he can channel his imagination to be Team Jedi or Team Dark Side!
Check out the post here for his Star Wars costume changing station.
Star Wars Costumes
We have so many different Star Wars costumes. One May the 4th (and Halloween) we wore costumes that fit our personalities. I went with Darth Vader, my daughter was Leia, son was Yoda and husband was Luke. Who knew being Darth Vader would be so fun!!
Check out our family costume post here. Perfect for your May the 4th celebration!
Is May the 4th just another day at your house or is it a designated Star Wars Day?!
With love,
Shahla
