These DIY wiffle ball pencil bats are sure to be a hit with the baseball/softball lovers in your life! I was able to make these for under $30 (honestly I could have made enough for an entire team with the amount of electrical tape I bought). And my next goal is to order plastic bats in bulk so I can make them for an entire team!

Supplies for Wiffle Ball Pencil Bats
- Electrical tape
- Wiffle ball bat this is the official one I used or I would check the Dollar Tree or this one looks awesome for a bulk order (although they are shorter!)
- Victus logo – I ended up searching online and found an SVG file of this logo and uploaded it to my Cricut design space. If you don’t have a Cricut I’m sure you can find one on Etsy or you can skip this step.
How-To
I started off by taping the eraser part by cutting slices of pink electrical tape and criss-crossing at the tip of the bat pushing out any air bubbles. This method was repeated until the bat surface was covered to create an eraser (and then wound around). Green tape was used to add accents at the top. Since the wiffle ball bat is yellow, I didn’t wrap the rest of the bat with yellow electrical tape. Black electrical tape was used at the base of the handle in the same criss-crossing method and wound around the rest of the handle. I would have used a cream color for the pencil shaving but I used white since that was what I had. To finish it off, I used my Cricut to add the Victus logo. And voila! A wiffle ball bat upgrade! My son was so excited to see his pencil bat! He loves using it to play backyard ball with friends.
